Touch a Motorcyle

A "Touch a Motorcycle" event brings the thrill of riding directly to seniors. Local motorcycle enthusiasts from H.O.G visit the Westhills Village Senior Living Center to display their bikes, allowing residents to view, safely touch, and hear the engines. It bridges generations, sparks fond memories, and encourages storytelling.

                  Key Event Elements

  • Up-Close Viewing: Bikes are parked outside the center or in a courtyard for easy, hands-on exploration without the pressure of riding.
  • Storytelling & Camaraderie: Riders and seniors swap stories about their favorite road trips, past bikes, or the history of motorcycle culture.
  • Engine Revs: Riders "fire up" their engines at scheduled times so residents can experience the rumble.
  • Photo Opportunities: Take digital pictures so that printouts can be made so seniors can take home a picture of themselves with a classic chopper, trike, cruiser, or touring bike in attendance.
  • Live Music: BitterSweet – Acoustic Rock Duo, will be playing onsite for the Seniors

Following the visit, approximately 3:30 pm,

Ride to DiaryTwist 12647 S Highway 16, Hill City for an ice cream and debrief of our event together.

We are hoping for at least 10 bikes. Come join us in helping to make memories in our community!

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.
